South African roots and Middle Eastern based independent singer, songwriter and performer, now releasing his 2nd album 'Coincidence'- an EP musically produced by Tamar Eisenman.

Green's debut album 'Puzzle' (2013) has been warmly received by the local media. It summarizes over a decade of creating and performing across Israel and is mostly described as a unique combination of  warm acoustic folk and blues, with some gentle influences of Middle Eastern and African colors. The lyrics offer a personal, ripe and in-depth reflection on social matters, as well as everyday life experiences and stories.

Among some of Green's significant influences are Paul Simon, John Martyn, Jose Gonzalez, Bill Callahan, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Ali Farka Toure.

Ronen's music provides a colorful range of songs- rhythm and groove alongside emotional and optimistic tunes, which have all marked his independent creativity and shaped an original , matured and brave voice that he has nourished over the years.

"Gentle, lo-fi, optimistic acoustic folk is what you get from Ronen Green - and rather fetchingit is, too. It sways, it swings, it feels like summer - and I like it" - Johnno Casson, BBC's Fresh On The Net.

"('Talk About God') is an amazing tune with a country soul by a musician whose work deserve a slow listening" - Mar De Miguel, Jungle Indie Rock.

"An excellent perfoemer that succeeds to produce his own style of folk-blues...he is an artist who waited for the right time and ripness to properly break through with his debut album" - Guy Tene, Galei Tzahal radio station music blog.

"'Puzzle' has a gentle bounce to it, and if I had to choose a favorite, it would be this song that resonates with the essence of a perspective that is at once knowing and loving. Like many of the songs on this album, it sounds simple at first, but the more you listen, the more you hear and comprehend" - Ayelet Dekel, Midnight East, Israeli coltural magazine
